Schizostachyum-beddomie
Schizostachyum beddomei is an evergreen, perennial, clump-forming bamboo with short rhizomes. The culms are usually leaning, from 3 – 6 meters long, 25 – 37mm in diameter with internodes 35 – 45cm long.
The culms are gathered from the wild for local use in weaving and basket making.
